We’re thrilled to announce that Tom Steenson, from Bolton, is now the proud owner of a contemporary, four-bedroom Devon house near the picturesque coastal town of Exmouth. Worth over £2,000,000, it comes complete with £250,000, a heated swimming pool and spectacular panoramic views.
Tom, who bought his multi-million-pound winning entry for just £20, as part of his Omaze subscription, was on his way to the pub when Omaze first knocked on his door to tell him he’d scooped a prize.
“Missing that pint made me a millionaire - it’s the best pint I’ve never had!” an elated Tom said.
Tom and his wife Carole have lived in their current two-bedroom house since 2021. They have a son and daughter as well as two grandchildren, and a Cocker Spaniel called Dazzle. He couldn’t be more delighted, saying “This will enable us to ensure that both of our children and two grandsons will be financially secure."
Tom has worked in training and development for the motor industry for 38 years, but doesn’t plan to retire just yet. “This win means we’ll never have to worry about money ever again - it’s a dream come true. I could retire early, but my boss doesn’t have to worry as I’ll keep working for a while yet, I like to stay busy.”
The stunning property comes mortgage free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. Tom has also been given £250,000 in cash to help settle in and can decide to either live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income or sell it whenever he wishes to become a cash multi-millionaire.
As well as making Tom a multi-millionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Devon, raised £3,500,000 for Campaign Against Living Miserably.
The money raised from the partnership with Omaze is the single biggest donation in the charity’s history and will make a transformational difference. It will go towards CALM's suicide prevention services including their life-saving helpline to help more people find hope and a reason to stay, keeping more families and loved ones together.

I can’t believe where I am today, it’s one hell of a turnaround from then to now!”
