What are cookies?

Omaze UK Limited (referred to as Omaze, we or us) use cookies on the omaze.co.uk website and the Omaze mobile application (the Platform). A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes a unique identifier. Cookies are created when your browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server. Why do we use these technologies?

We use cookies for four purposes:

To be clear, these cookie-based opt-outs must be performed on each device and browser that you wish to have opted out. For example, if you have opted out on your computer browser, that opt-out will not be effective on your mobile device. You must separately opt out on each device.

How do we manage these cookies?

Cookies have different durations depending on their purpose. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period unless you delete them earlier or change your Cookie Settings. We do not retain cookies for longer than necessary for the purpose for which they are used, and in any event our cookies expire within 13 months unless a shorter period is stated. Statistical cookies used for A/B testing are retained only for as long as necessary to run and complete the relevant test and produce aggregated statistical results.

Functional, Analytics and Performance, and Targeting Cookies require your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; doing so will not affect any use of these cookies before you withdrew consent.
