We’re delighted to announce that a lucky grandfather from Wigan has won the first ever Omaze Million Pound House outside of the UK. Mark, who now lives in Devon, won our Marbella Superdraw - giving him the keys to a £2,000,000 villa in Marbella and £250,000 cash in the bank!
Mark, a legal consultant, was working overseas when we contacted him about his win so we had to deliver the life-changing news via Zoom. Mark’s wife of 22 years, Debra, a bereavement counsellor and wellness coach, had no idea Mark had even bought a ticket.
Shocked Mark said: “I couldn’t believe it when Omaze called me to say I’d won the grand prize, I was out of the country with work so called my wife straightaway – she was even more flabbergasted than I was as she had no idea I’d even entered!”
Mark had previously entered nine Omaze Million Pound House Draws, so said that winning the luxury three-storey, four-bed villa on Marbella’s Golden Mile was a case of “tenth time lucky”.
Mark said he will be dusting off his swimming trunks and practicing his Spanish in anticipation of keeping the villa for family holidays, although he admits that he’s always struggled to find a work-life balance and that knowing he could now retire tomorrow is a wonderful feeling.
Your entries into the Marbella Superdraw also raised an incredible £800,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, in what was the charity’s second partnership with Omaze. Teenage Cancer Trust supports teenagers and young people through cancer, to stop the disease damaging their futures.

Everything we provide to get young people with cancer through the toughest times imaginable – our specialist hospital units, nurses and youth teams – are entirely dependent on the money we’re able to fundraise."
