The village of Kinloch Rannoch is four miles to the east of the house, the town of Pitlochry, where the Caledonian Sleeper stops en route to London, is 28 miles east and the city of Perth is 51 miles southeast. The capital of Edinburgh, and its international airport, are 98 miles southeast.

Loch Rannoch

Leisurely cycle the 22 mile ringroad around this 10 miles long freshwater loch, picnicking on the north shore’s sandy beaches to a backdrop of heather covered hills.
