The already sporty Macan SUV is turned into the GTS performance model courtesy of a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, which produces 440PS, and 550Nm of torque from 1900-5600rpm. That means 0-60mph in well under five seconds.
There’s also unique body styling, a switchable sports exhaust with quad tailpipes, a GTS-specific chassis, bigger brakes, and lovely 21-inch wheels.
It feels equally special inside, with a heated steering wheel lifted straight out of Porsche’s iconic 911 sports car, plus a unique GTS interior. And inside, the dashboard and door trims are optioned in high-gloss black, as are the illuminated door sill guards. The sporting intent remains clear, but with a sophisticated and understated twist.
