  • We’ll give the winner £250,000 in cash to help with running costs and settling in.

We estimate the basic running costs of the Surrey House to be £1,424 per month (as of September 2025) based on:

Broadband: £65 month 

Council tax: £411 per month

Building and contents insurance: £48 per month

Septic tank annual service and emptying: £35 per month

Solar Panel Cleaning: £45 per month

Service of fire alarm: £42 per month

Based on £1,424 per month, £250,000 would cover the essential running costs of the Surrey House for over 14 years.
