We’re Proud to Support BBC Children in Need

Many young people in the UK have nobody to turn to in times of crisis. Through local youth work, BBC Children in Need can focus on the prevention of key issues and make sure young people have access to trusted youth workers. Help BBC Children in Need provide more safe spaces for young people just by entering our Dorset House Draw.

Provide Safe Spaces for Young People

With almost half of children reporting being a victim of or witness to violence in the last year*, youth clubs are a vital safe space for young people.

However, with more than 940 youth centres closing since 2010, our young people need your help to access the safe spaces where they can address the issues destabilising their lives and futures.

By entering the Dorset House Draw, you’ll be supporting BBC Children in Need to help provide young people with safe spaces and someone to turn to when things are hard or in times of crisis.

So, do something omazing.

A Word From BBC CHILDREN IN NEED

“We know that children and young people are facing challenging times right now and we’re here to create opportunities. Every child has dreams and ambitions, but some face barriers – such as mental health, poverty, discrimination, prejudice and injustice. We believe that no child should be held back, and for those that we support we know that funding powerful and positive relationships with a trusted adult - a youth worker - can make a huge difference. Providing spaces in youth centres where positive relationships can be built is transformational and through this amazing partnership we will be able to help more children thrive.”
