You’ve Helped Change Lives
We want to thank everyone who entered our Devon House Draw. You’ve helped us raise an incredible £1,000,000 for the NSPCC’s Childline.
Want to support the vital work of more incredible charities?
It's an incredible achievement to have raised £1,000,000, for this incredible charity and we're so proud of the whole Omaze community for helping us get there.
Following the impact of the pandemic, the money couldn’t have come at a more vital time. And it means Childline counsellors can be there for even more young people, no matter what difficulty they’re facing.
So, a massive thanks to everyone who entered the Devon House Draw. We really couldn't have done this without you.
When a child feels like they have no one to turn to, it’s vital that Childline is there for them. So many don’t have anyone they can talk to at home.
That’s why the money you’ve helped to raise is so important. It means trained counsellors can answer calls from young people in need. A conversation with Childline can give a voice to those who are suffering in silence. And the right support at the right time can be life-changing.
So once again, thank you for supporting the NSPCC’s Childline by entering the Devon House Draw. You’ve helped make an incredible difference.
“Childline is a safe place for desperate children to turn to. Our counsellors are here to listen, to reassure, and to protect them. And for a child who has no one else to talk to, it can be life-changing – even life-saving.
On average, a child contacts Childline every 25 seconds. Sadly, right now, Childline can only answer two out of every three calls it receives. But you can help to change that.
We rely on generous donations and fundraising. That’s why the support of partners like Omaze is crucial in ensuring our dedicated volunteers and staff can answer the calls and online contacts from children who need our help.
Thank you for helping Childline counsellors be there – ready to help children, no matter what difficulties they’re facing, to give them hope and support, no matter how alone they feel.”
