Ascot House Experience Rules – UK

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR DONATION OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW AND WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR DONATION IN RELATION TO AN ENTRY WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. RESIDENTS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM EXCLUDED. Capitalized terms used and not defined in this section have the respective meanings assigned to them in the Official Rules.

Promoter updated these Experience Rules on 7th January 2022 to include an additional Secondary Prize Draw Prize, the Early Bird Prize 6 – Volvo XC40 & Cash Prize £25,000 ("Early Bird Prize 6"). Any eligible Participant who entered the Grand-Prize Prize Draw during the applicable Entry Period for the Early Bird Prize 6 provided in Section 4, Table 2, below, will automatically be entered for the chance to win the Early Bird Prize 6. If you entered the Grand-Prize Prize Draw before 7th January 2022, your chances of winning the Grand-Prize or any of the other prizes listed in these Experience Rules will not be affected by this change.

1. WINNERS:
One (1) grand prize winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”) in connection with the Grand-Prize Prize Draw (as defined in Section 5(A) of the Official Rules, and further described herein).

Twenty-six (26) secondary prize winners (a “Secondary Prize Winner” collectively the “Secondary Prize Winners”) in connection with the Secondary Prize Draws (as defined in Section 5(B) of the Official Rules, and further described herein).

The Grand Prize Winner and the Secondary Prize Winners shall hereinafter be referred to individually as a “Winner” and collectively as the “Winners.”

2. PROMOTER:
Omaze UK Limited (referred to herein as “Omaze” or “Promoter”)

3. ELIGIBILITY:
Please check the Official Rules to make sure that you are eligible to enter this Prize Draw. In addition to any eligibility requirements provided in the Official Rules, you can only enter this Prize Draw via Omaze.co.uk if you are aged 18 years or over, are a legal resident in the United Kingdom, and do not qualify as a Prohibited Person (as defined in Section 4(A) of the Official Rules).

The Grand Prize Winner and Secondary Prize Winners may be eligible to win multiple Prizes in this Prize Draw. For example, a Winner could win the Ascot House and the Jaguar I-Pace or a Winner could win a weekly cash prize and the Jaguar I-Pace (See Section 10, below for Prize details and descriptions). In addition, notwithstanding anything contained in Section 4(A)(i) of the Official Rules to the contrary, individuals who have won any other grand prize in a Grand-Prize Prize Draw at Omaze.co.uk within eighteen (18) months before the date of entry into this Prize Draw may be eligible to enter or win any Prize in this Prize Draw, even if such individual won a grand prize in a Grand-Prize Prize Draw at Omaze.co.uk. The Grand Prize Winner will also be eligible to win any other prize of any other Prize Draw at Omaze.co.uk, and solely for the Prize Draws on the Omaze.co.uk site, the eighteen (18) month prohibition provided in Section 4(A)(i) of the Official Rules shall not be applicable to the Grand Prize Winner of this Prize Draw for other Prize Draws on Omaze.co.uk.

4. DEADLINE TO ENTER / ENTRY PERIOD:
This Prize Draw includes a Grand-Prize and various Secondary Prize Draws, which will be conducted by various prize draws (“Drawings”) for the prizes (each a “Prize”) identified in Tables 1 and 2, below. The Grand-Prize Prize Draw shall be conducted as one (1) Drawing with entry periods for one (1) Prize identified in Table 1, below (the “Grand Prize Entry Period”). The Secondary Prize Draws shall include the following: (a) Early Bird Prize Draws, (b) Weekly Cash Prize Draws and (c) Flash Draw Prize Draws. The Secondary Prize Draw shall be conducted as Twenty-six (26) Drawings with entry periods for Twenty-six (26) Prizes identified in Table 2, below (each a “Secondary Prize Draw Entry Period”). The Grand Prize Entry Period and the Secondary Prize Draw Entry Periods detailed in Tables 1 and 2 below will each end at 23:59:59 (GMT) on the last date of the respective Entry Period for online entries and at 5:00:00 PM (GMT) on the last date of the respective Entry Period for postal entries. Omaze is the official timekeeper.

The Flash Draw Prize Draws within the Secondary Prize Draws will also be conducted from time-to-time as a limited number of short-term Drawings with separate entry periods (“Flash Draw Entry Periods”). The Flash Draw Entry Periods (which will include extended periods to allow for postal entries), and the Prize(s) available (including prize descriptions and any applicable restrictions), will be clearly publicised on the marketing materials for each Flash Draw Prize Draw. All Flash Draw Entry Periods will begin at the time and date publicised on the applicable Flash Draw Prize Draw’s marketing materials and will each end at 23:59:59 (GMT) on the last date of the respective Flash Prize Entry Period for online entries and will end at 5:00:00 PM (GMT) on the last date of the respective Flash Prize Entry Period for postal entries. Omaze is the official timekeeper.

5. HOW TO ENTER:
Visit the Omaze.co.uk to utilize any of our methods of entry to enter this Prize Draw. For postal entries, please submit to Omaze Scrutineers - Ascot House Draw, Civica Election Services, 33 Clarendon Road, London, N8 0NW. All entries must be received before the applicable Entry Period end time/date to be valid. All online Entry Periods will end at 23:59:59 (GMT) on the last date of the respective Entry Period, and all postal Entry Periods will end at 5:00:00 PM (GMT) on the last date of the respective Entry Period. Omaze is the official timekeeper. See our Official Rules for more details.

To enter a Secondary Prize Draw in this Prize Draw (the Early Bird Prize Draw, Weekly Cash Prize Draws, and Flash Draw Prize Draws), individuals must enter the Grand-Prize Prize Draw during an applicable Secondary Prize Draw Entry Period identified in Section 4, Table 2, above, using any method of entry. All Participants who enter the Grand-Prize Prize Draw during an applicable Secondary Prize Draw Entry Period will automatically receive the same number of entries into such Secondary Prize Draw as the number of valid entries they received for the Grand Prize Prize Draw during the applicable Secondary Prize Draw Entry Period, up to the Secondary Prize Draw’s entry limit, as applicable.

6. ENTRY LIMIT:
There is no entry limit for UK residents in this Prize Draw, regardless of the method of entry.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.

7. POTENTIAL WINNER NOTIFICATIONS, CONFIRMATION & VERIFICATION PROCESS:
On or after the applicable Draw Date specified in Section 4, above, Potential Winner(s) (as defined in Section 8 of the Official Rules) will be selected for each Drawing using a verifiably random process administered by the Prize Draw Vendor from all eligible entries received. Potential Winner(s) will be notified and must respond within 96 hours of the Potential Winner notification email being sent, in accordance with the terms and deadlines stated in the Official Rules. Potential Winners are subject to confirmation and verification by Omaze in accordance with the terms and restrictions stated in the Official Rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during an applicable Entry Period.

8. WINNER ANNOUNCED:
Winners will be announced by Omaze on or after the Friday following the relevant Draw Date specified in Section 4, above, or after a Winner is confirmed, whichever occurs later.

9. PRIZE PROVIDER:
Omaze, including any of its affiliates ("Prize Provider").

10. PRIZE DETAILS:
The following Prizes will be awarded in connection with the Drawings as outlined in the Drawing schedules in Section 4, above. Except as explicitly stated herein, all Prizes are awarded as is, without any representations or warranties. Unless noted in the Prize details in this Section 10, Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, costs, and fees associated with Prize receipt, ownership, and/or use. To accept the Prizes, Winners must accurately complete and timely return all documentation required by the Prize Provider, and failure to complete and timely return any required documentation within a reasonable time, or such other time period expressly provided by Prize Provider in writing, may result in disqualification.

  1. Grand Prize Prize Draw - Grand Prize: The Grand Prize Winner will receive (i) the advertised home located in Ascot (the “Property”) (approximate retail value (“ARV”): £3,750,000 GBP), including home furnishings (ARV: £200,000 GBP); and (ii) £20,000 for first year running costs associated with the Property ((i) and (ii) collectively the “Grand Prize”). Actual value of the Property depends on market fluctuations. Omaze will settle the following taxes and costs incurred by the winner of the Grand Prize in relation to their acceptance and use of the Grand Prize: stamp duty land tax and reasonable conveyancers fees. Any other taxes, costs, and fees associated with the Grand Prize will be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.

    The specifics of all elements of the Grand Prize in this Grand-Prize Prize Draw shall be solely determined by Promoter. Some restrictions may apply, and any Grand Prize elements not specifically described in this Section 10(a) may be determined by Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion. The Grand Prize cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute all or part of the Grand Prize with a prize of comparable or greater value.

  2. Secondary Prize Draw Prizes

    1. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 1: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: one (1) 2021 model year Jaguar I-Pace (ARV £78,278 GBP).
    2. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 2: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: An eleven (11) day / ten (10) night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi for Secondary Prize Winner and one (1) guest; Secondary Prize Winner and one (1) guest will receive roundtrip business class flights; two meals for each day included for Secondary Prize Winner and one (1) guest; and Secondary Prize Winner will be able to design an itinerary for various meals and activities for the trip with Quintessentially Travel within a £4,000.00 GBP budget (ARV £40,000.00 GBP). Quintessentially Travel Ltd shall be considered a Prize Provider for purposes of this Early Bird Prize 2.
      1. Early Bird Prize 2 is non-transferable. In the unlikely event that the Early Bird Prize 2 should become unavailable for any reason, Prize Provider reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in Prize Provider’s sole and reasonable discretion. The Early Bird Prize 2 is strictly limited to those elements described in Section 10(b)(ii). Any elements not specifically described in this Section 10(b)(ii) may be determined by Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.
      2. The Secondary Prize Winner for the Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 2 must book travel by no later than March 21, 2023 or the Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 2 will become null and void. Secondary Prize Winner will be requested to provide three (3) separate dates of preferred travel and Prize Provider will work towards fulfilling at least one (1) of those dates. Additionally, a minimum of six (6) weeks lead time prior to the preferred departure date is required for booking, and passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months of the date of departure for Secondary Prize Winner and any applicable guest. The holidays are subject to availability and blackout dates will apply. Blackout dates include 17 December – 2 January, annually, Easter, and summer holidays (25 July to 15 August, annually). Once the package is booked it is non-changeable and non-refundable.
    3. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 3: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: one (1) 2021 model year Audi RS e-tron GT (ARV £135,590.00 GBP).
    4. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 4: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: one (1) 2021 model year Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo (ARV £114,831.00 GBP).
    5. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 5: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: £100,000.00 GBP in cash payment.
    6. Early Bird Prize Draw Prize 6: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner: one (1) 2022 model year Volvo XC40 (ARV £58,050.00 GBP) & £25,000.00 GBP in cash payment.
    7. Weekly Cash Prize Draw Prizes: The following Secondary Prize shall be awarded to one (1) Secondary Prize Winner for each weekly Drawing outlined in Section 4, Table 2, above, for a total of twenty (20) Secondary Prize Winners for the Weekly Cash Prize Prize Draw: £1,000 GBP in cash payment.
    8. Flash Draw Prize Draw Prizes: For each Flash Draw Prize Draw Drawing, the Prize(s) available will be clearly publicised on the marketing materials for each Flash Draw Prize Draw, including prize descriptions and any applicable restrictions.

All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. This Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated in any way with Jaguar Land Rover or any of its affiliates.


Fundraising Transparency

If you make a monetary payment to us to enter the Prize Draw (an “Entry Fee”), Omaze will donate at least 80% of the Net Proceeds to the applicable Charity (each a “Donation”) with a guaranteed minimum Donation of £100,000 irrespective of sales. “Net Proceeds” means 100% of your Entry Fee, minus the costs associated with providing the Prizes, and the reasonable costs of marketing and operating the Prize Draw. We do not deduct our salaries or central overheads from the Donations. In relation to the Million Pound House Draw- Ascot Prize Draw, all Donations will be passed on to Cancer Research UK (a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464) and Scotland (SC041666)) (“Charity”) as outlined in these Experience Rules.
