There are two million people living with sight loss in the UK and this number is set to double by 2050.
Every day 250 people start to lose their sight—the equivalent to one person every six minutes—and four children are registered as blind or partially sighted.
Living with sight loss can be incredibly difficult. Without the right support, people are left feeling alone and isolated.

A WORD FROM GUIDE DOGS
A WORD FROM GUIDE DOGS
"We’re incredibly grateful to Omaze for choosing to support Guide Dogs and everyone impacted by sight loss across the UK.
There are two million people living with sight loss in the UK, and without the right support, many can feel isolated from their friends, family, careers, and communities. Guide Dogs provides life-changing services so every person with a vision impairment has the confidence to live life to the fullest.
The funds raised through this partnership will cover the first two months of life for all guide dog puppies born this year, helping transform the lives of people with sight loss."

"I’m proud to support this campaign for Guide Dogs and Omaze. 1 in 5 people will experience sight loss in their lifetime so the need for these incredible pups has never been more urgent.
I’ve had the privilege of seeing the dedication and skill that goes into training these amazing dogs. Recent experiences have also given me a deeper appreciation for the challenges of sight loss and the importance of the right support.
By getting involved you’re helping more people experience the life-changing support of a guide dog. Even a certain caretaker would have to admit – they are nothing short of magical!"
