How do you feel about winning £1,000 in cash?
It feels great. The most I’ve ever won is £50 on the lottery so this is great. Very unexpected. Thank you!
How did you hear about The Omaze Million Pound House Draw?
I heard about it on the grapevine. I live in Bramhall, the town over from Cheadle Hulme where the Million Pound House is. I think someone told me about it and then I went on the website.
What tempted you to enter?
Well, the house, obviously. It was great to have the opportunity to win a house but I also noticed that 80% of the net proceeds were going to Teenage Cancer Trust. I know that charities have lost a lot of money this year and I wanted to give something back.
Had you heard about Teenage Cancer Trust before you entered?
I had heard of it before. I also lost both of my parents to cancer so cancer charities for children and adults are very close to my heart.
So, how are you going to spend the £1,000?
Hopefully, a holiday. We’ve had to cancel a couple already this year but I hope to go on holiday next year.
