What is the NSPCC?

Our charity partners are a huge part of the reason we do what we do here at Omaze. And our partnerships mean a lot to us. Which is why when we get to partner with a charity for a second time, it’s a pretty big deal.

Back in September 2021, you helped us raise an incredible £1,000,000 for the NSPCC’s Childline. Now, 20 months later, we are ecstatic to be partnering with this fantastic charity once more in our Cotswolds House Draw — supporting their mission to prevent abuse, help rebuild children's lives and support families through their Speak out Stay safe programme in schools. Because every childhood is worth fighting for.

NSPCC

As the leading children’s charity in the UK, the NSPCC has been protecting children for over 100 years, with a clear and simple purpose: to stop abuse, keep children safe and give them the best possible start in life. Because childhood shapes who we become, and abuse never should.

Today, the fight for every childhood continues. And for the NSPCC, donations are vitally important to help take on that fight in many forms:

  • Via projects such as Together for Childhood — helping children who’ve experienced abuse, supporting parents, and working to transform the way communities come together to prevent child cruelty.
  • And through programmes like  Speak out Stay safe in schools, helping children learn how to recognise abuse and that they always have the right to be safe.
Speak out Stay safe

The NSPCC partnership with Omaze in the 2021 Devon House Draw raised an incredible £1,000,000 for the NSPCC’s Childline, allowing trained counsellors to continue their critical work answering calls from young people in need and giving them a voice. Work which has shown that the right support, at the right time, can be life-changing.

Now, through the Cotswolds House Draw, we’re hoping to raise even more money for another of the NSPCC’s essential services: the NSPCC’s Speak out Stay safe programme. This school-based initiative helps children understand that abuse is never their fault and that they always have the right to be safe. They also learn about their rights, what's OK and not OK, and what to do if they're ever worried or scared.

“Everything we do protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, transforming attitudes, behaviours and laws to benefit every childhood.

Because childhood shapes who we become. Abuse never should.

We are delighted to be partnering with Omaze again, having seen such an incredible impact from the £1,000,000 raised for our Childline service during our first house draw in 2021.

This partnership will raise vital funds to maintain our services that allow us to support not just children, but their parents and families as well. Thank you Omaze.”
